Steps in Studying the Life of a Bible Character
Investigating the life of a person from the Bible is a way to gain an understanding about God and how he relates with human beings.
The Bible presents story after story that focuses on people’s dealings with God and their reaction to God’s call on their lives.
Sometimes those people are models of godly living that we should aspire to emulate.
Other times people’s behavior and attitude toward God reveal the fallenness of the world and the negative effects sin can have on our lives.
Step 1
- Locate Verses Related to a Bible Character.
- What role does the Bible character play in what happened in the Bible?
Step 2
- Research a Bible Character in Bible Dictionaries.
